if pizza hut are regularly being fleeced by people who have something identifiable in common, whatever it may be, i think they are within their rights to take precautions to prevent losses.
there is no doubt that it was badly executed.

If restaurants gave better customer service and were up to speed with their tables then less people would do a runner or be able to. The amount of times I've had to wait for ages for the bill, I've often joked to my company we could iust walk out before anyone would know.

It would put me off going to a restaurant if I knew I had to pay up front for everything. With pubs it's a bit different cos you expect to pay up front at the bar.

I had the Di Canio special pizza in Fratello's last night. Couldn't stop jumping up and down, running up and down the table, straightening my tie and gesticulating at everyone and everything, night mare, but the pizza was good.
