Why would they want to keep a tram in the Premier League? This could go badly off the rails

If it does, will the footage be as good as the ultra realistic special effects that blessed the Corrie tram crash? In no way did it look like a Hornby model spliced into the scene.

Calderwood was on the radio yesterday suggesting they had one of the lowest budgets in the league to work with, and that Ashley was a nice enough bloke but nobody knows where they stand or knows what he expects because he changes his mind all the time and is tough to get hold of to answer questions etc.

Perhaps Mark McGhee should take over at Newcastle - I think him & Ashley deserve each other

I bet the geordies feel stupid for worrying about who was to be the replacement now. They could have appointed a hasbeen and been the laughing stock of the premier league.

According to media reports (Telegraph Sports) Newcastle are prepared to offer Pardew a simply
ridiculous contract offer....

"It is understood that a five-and-a-half year deal is on the table for the 49 year-old Pardew who has been out of work since he was sacked by League One side Southampton and will have his work cut out to win over fans and players alike judging by the reaction to Hughton's sacking".

The Newcastle soap opera continues unabated.
