Can't be any worse than Pericard and Dossevi.

We've had a bit of joy from Torquay signings in the past....John Smith, Kenny Allen, Phil King spring to mind so wouldn't be adverse.

Probably bullshit mind....can't see D and R affording 40K and Sarfend are mega fucked.

He's highly rated there. Didn't go to the game here in the JPT but he played. Any thoughts from anyone that went? This to me though (if true) seems like we're already resigned to losing Austin in January.

Went through early on in the game after a mistake then didn't get a sniff, looked quite a small lad so would imagine he'd need a big guy next to him.

Are we resigned to losing Austin or resigned to losing Pericard? Thought his deal was out in January?

Who was it who laughed at me when I suggested we might be in for him last week. Own up...

Proven goalscorer in lower leagues, probably could do worse I guess.

We will only move for him if Charlie goes IMO.

Not really. People are divided on VP and Dossevi at best, I'd be more tempted to look on it as strengthening.

He's scored about 30 goals in his entire pro career so not sure how you've come to that conclusion!

35 goals in 118 appearances, that works out at 1 goal in every 3 games, not a bad return at all from less than 120 games, about 30 of those appearances were as a sub.

A far better return goals per game than Paynter (38 goals in 190 games) was when he signed for us.
