They were on good money at Celtic...they didn't move here for the love of a slice of lardy...
They were youngsters, no where near the first team so I highly doubt they would have been on 'big' wages, and I doubt they are on 'big' wages at Swindon. Plenty of players here will be on more than those 2 I reckon. |

So while your undying love for Greer touches me the fact is that he wont be on a lot more at Brighton than he could have been here.  |

Its aimed at the people who were giving Fitton shit for letting him go......of course we dont know how much Greer is on...you point that out..............so what makes you think you know what Ferry/Caddis were on in Scotland and indeed down here...cant have it both ways. I agree with you for once should we still compare Don Rogers against the current team? the only loyal thing in football are the supporters players it is a job and they are able to chase the money we all do it every day in our jobs lets move on he is not coming back |

i dont buy into the affair,dressing room unrest,bad apple etc,etc,i'm sure it was just business on our chairmans part. i think it really is that simple. he liked the offer and he didn't think greer was worth a longer contract and more money. completely understandable. it will get dragged up continually as its left a fucking massive void in the side. |
