I don't have a problem if teams do this. Its no different to widening or narrowing the pitch at the start of the season which Town have done in the past.
This pales into insignificance to our defensive frailties.Althuogh not at the game I'm pretty sure it was our bollox defending rather than the ball boys who cost us again.

A wide pitch/narrow pitch is the same for both sides............throwing the ball back to the opposition(us on Saturday)quicker or slower depending on the state of the match is not fair....ie when Rochdale are winning the ball gets back to us slower....then a lot faster when Rochdale are losing....Stoke do it all the time...complete with towell!

I have to say I didn't notice a particular problem on Saturday, but I've always hated multi-ball.  There's something about all those different balls pinging about that really gets me.    Bit surprised that Wilson was complaining about it, maybe cos the 'upstart' fourth official was annoying.

Its a wind up......they were pissing about with the ball and when Wilson and Shirtliff got upset the fourth official was giving them warnings....banned to the stand etc.
