Now that does seem a little petty.

I'd forgotten about that, I did notice a few times they got the ball quickly, and there was one occasion there were 2 balls on the pitch. Not something to really make an issue about, we should be alert to the possibility of quick throw systems.

Perhaps something we should be looking to implement ourselves?

I don't have a problem if teams do this. Its no different to widening or narrowing the pitch at the start of the season which Town have done in the past. This pales into insignificance to our defensive frailties.Althuogh not at the game I'm pretty sure it was our bollox defending rather than the ball boys who cost us again.

In the dark and distant pass as a ball boy I was told to slow down if we were winning etc.
I think Wilson should concentrate on what happens when the ball is in-play, on something he can influence.

Was it at rochdale that locals punted a load of balls into the ground during a game? A few years back.

Which is lucky in a way, as the ball boys looked fairly nippy, I'm positive they would gave put 4 or 5 past us instead of the 3.

No, it was Mansfield, in protest at the owners of the time...and they were live on TV.

I was pretty amazed that clubs have to pay to use the "multi ball system" its just a few extra balls and ball boys and not a cool pinball machine thing.
