what your point? I really dont know?

You have to win things to comment on other teams? I've won nothing important nor played football at a decent level - so should I never comment on Swindon.

You've never been pro, so I guess you cant comment on Prutton?

Go Flash-totally right mate.Hansen also winds me up-never had to make a managerial decision in his life and as for Lineker-smug wanker!Shearer goes on to praise Andy Carroll whilst arguing that our players lack technique-play the likes of Carroll up front and what will happen? We will continue to knock long balls up to him, missing out midfield and then moan that our midfield players lack "ability on the ball"-the era of the so-called "typical English centre forward" is a total anachronism in modern international football.Shearer was a decent player but as a coach/manager,as Flash says,is completely clueless.Ex failed internationals should shut the fuck up.

How is Shearer a 'failed' international?

Is every England player since 66 a failed international are they?

Bull.Shit.

I will amke it easy for you:

Shearer the club player - great - won lots of stuff (nothing in Europe)
Shearer the England player - one of the best we had - unfortunatley won nothing
Shearer the manager - Disaster
Shearer the potential manager - Not wanted
Shearer the pundit - OK in patches.

An mediocre pundit who has managed for a short while (a disaster) and won nothing as an International player ( So he cannot say "When i won the (add cup here)" ) cannot thus have anything meaningful to say about a succesful manager (Not for England but Capello has a few things and in Europe too Alan!!).

Please correct me but wasnt Shearer the trouble maker who helped Ruud get the bullet at Newcastle. (i dont know this for sure).

As for Prutton, i pay my money and go to games so i will boo, cheer and comment if i think someone is good/shit/indifferent. Thats why i can comment about Prutton.

I agree with everything in that article. It doesn't say anywhere how he's a better manager, how he can turn england into something resembling a football team. He just says, in a round about way, what many of us think. We. Are. Shit. And so is the coaching system in this country.

I can't see what the huge hatred is for shearer, he's the epitome of what we lack. (A player who gave a fuck and would cut his bollocks off for the team.) Therefore his comments are valid. Certainly more so than anyone on any football forum.
