So how does that work? A 50p, 10p and 5p coin from 1969 when the UK went decimal in 1971.

Is this not something the seller has just knocked up, using a frame, a photo and some old change?
I remember when I was little and we went on holiday. On the flight we got a gift set of coins, commemorating something or other, and I thought I was rich. It had pretty much one of every coin up to £1. I left it on the plane and was heart broken.

You are correct. Bit odd seeing noted above that money was not even available at the time!

So how does that work? A 50p, 10p and 5p coin from 1969 when the UK went decimal in 1971. To be fair, all three coins were first issued in 68/69 in the run up to decimalisation.

Fair enough. So you'll be forking out the £22 for this rare and timeless piece of history then.

In fact, the 50p piece wasn't introduced until October 1969.

You don't have a job at the moment do you Ben. The employer's loss is always the TEF's gain.
