Well I care. I wanted to win this tin pot trophy and exercise the ghosts of Wembley last.

Game summary:

Started off well, Austin scored, Peri looked to be taken down in box, team fell asleep, defensive frailties still there as a unit rather than individuals, complete fuck up for second goal as well when Smith should have claimed it. Second half better, Austin missed sitter from 2 yards, Austin missed header, O'Brien - why. Pens. Ball unlucky, Timlin's in orbit. Game over.

fuckityfuck.

An utterly rediculous defeat.

4 games at the CG already this season against Brentford and Orient. 4 games, no wins. Season over.

Shit crowd. Shame it looks like most of you were too thick to realise this was the only chance we had left to achieve something this season.

Might as well have a big shake up in january, try and get ourselves sorted for next season. Get rid of Alan O'Brien anyway we can.

Peri looked to be taken down in box

how the ref decided that wasn't a penalty i will never know.

i agree with spencer though, AOB needs to first stop being on our bench and then eventually stop being paid by us

Just back. More of the same, but we looked quite good up until Pericard went off. Ball did okay but he doesn't link up well with Austin. Morrison looked shakey again. O'Brien was his usual shit self. Smith's fault for the goal I think, but he did pull off a blinding save in the first half.

Enough said about the penalties the better. Apart from Austin's they were all shite, and Timlin's is still on its way to the moon.

Might not need to.  I heard he has an automatic option to extend his contract after playing a certain amount of game but is uming and ahing whether to take it up. Supermarine must be rubbing their hands with glee.

I just don't get O'Brien at all... he could be a great player -has great pace and a decent-ish cross, but seems to have no footballing brain, no drive and seems to have no intention of putting in any effort - ever.

Sorry but Austin looked disinterested and wasn't in the game. Should have scored the easiest chance he'll ever be presented with.

I thought Ball was decent when he came on. Worked hard and caused them problems.

A poor quality game but we had enough chances to win comfortably.

How many games was it in the contract? 3? Hes been injured most of the time.

If thats true and we're stuck with him for another season then it is a fucking disgrace. A right royal Fuck up, Danny.

Stupid thing was Ritchie on one side and McGovern was still working when O'Brien came on. Unbelievable. It was only due to comedy finnishing we werent 3-1 up.

Unfortunately (or not as the case may be) the 7pm kick off put paid to my attendance tonight.

The hope that Saturday's result was the turning point was clearly just a dream again.
