Well, we can always recall him as we did with Timlin. More concerned at where he's being sent tbh.

More importantly should we have agreements in place with the Pikey's?

Good decision imo. We have 3 left backs now 4 inc Kennedy. Glad they are getting him some football

Who on earth did he offend to get sent to Gillingham?

True, they are shit but need a kick up the ass after a 2-0 defeat to Dover!

Morrison came back a better player after his Southend loan, the same seems to have happened with Timlin and maybe the same will happen with Kennedy. At the moment he's behind Rose, Sheehan and I'd says Lecs as well for the left back spot so for the time being it shouldn't bother us in the slightest.

I believe the Pikeys are testing their 32 or something winless away run at the Scummers soon.

Maybe young Callum could be just the lad to inspire the Pikeys to success....or he could be i the unusal position of getting abuse from both sets of fans.

Common sense prevails! He's nearly 21 years old and this is the first time he'll have been out on loan. I wish more of our youth team graduates were given the chance?/took the plunge? to go and get league football. Good luck Callum!

He's shown he's a good enough player but he's got two established (well-paid) pros ahead of him. Just a shame it's got to be Gillingham. Who is their regular left back out of interest? Some Nutter isn't it?!

Mark Scott appears to have made strides even if it is only Southern League Premier with Supermarine. Go Nathan Thompson, Will Evans and Billy Bodin... Spread your wings!!

What pleases me is that we are now starting to ship our players out to league 2 sides as opposed to Supermarine etc (no disrepect meant there either). It just benefits them  more if they can get some games at a higher level.

Alot of it depends on the quality of youngster at your disposal I suppose. Callum Kennedy will be very comfortable in League two meaning teams like the Gills are more than happy to take them on.

Our youth team graduates from around 5 years ago are, with the exception of Pook (cheltenham) Doe (dag n red) and Zebroski (torquay), at Swindon Supermarine! Which shows you their level, no disrespect to 'marine once again.
