God you would think that Crawley just drw Manchester United, Aresnal or Chelsea in the FA Cup

It's relatively tame this season compared to some of the stuff that was posted on their last season.  Eek

I don't think the sending off had much impact to be honest on saturday. We were all over Plymouth from the start!

The trouble with us is, you never know which Swindon is gonna turn up. There's the Swindon who like to play football and use the wings and then there's the Swindon who played against Charlton last tuesday and were absolute dog shite.

We seem to be a bit more reserved when playing at home and if we do get coverage you'll be pleased to know we've only won once in front of live cameras.

You've obviously not seen a) our record against non-league teams in the FA Cup and b) our record in televised matches. It doesn't make good reading (for us).

"A few years ago they were struggling financially so they've had their ups and downs, " he said.

"But they're really flourishing at the moment with a bit of money behind them.

"They're top of the Conference which isn't easy so they'll be a tough game.

"As non-league grounds go it's quite smart and fairly new.

"It's not a horror show and the changing rooms are spacious so there won't be any prima dona crying or anything."

Although Crawley will enjoy the underdog tag, the former Millwall keeper does not think they will have overwhelming support.

"There will probably be quite a few people in non-league that will be backing us," he said.

"Everyone begrudges a team that's got plenty of money all of a sudden."

It was a shame to read Phil Smith's comments on the BBC website earlier.  He was well liked at Crawley and had circumstances been different with our finances at the time I'm sure most fans would have wanted him to stay.  He still gets talked about on the Crawley forum now and again.

What's wrong with that? He hasn't been disrespectful and has given you some praise.

He's right about some conference fans probably backing us, rival fans don't like clubs with a money. That's just a fact.

The whole terrace can hold 1600 but we could just give you the 15% allocation we have to in the FA Cup.  That would limit you to about 750 tickets, split between seats and terrace.  It's a case of wait and see how many you get.

If it's only 750 the game will have to be all ticket, as I would expect us to bring 1000+. So if it's potd there would be a fair few trying for the home parts.

Knowing how the home fans get treated I wouldn't be surprised if they gave you the whole of the 1600 terrace and a few hundred seats, and then wonder why the attendance is only about 3500.

We should bring a fair few for this one. New ground, southern etc. Although there would be less if it is on tv.

Depends really. We took a fair few to Dagenham. We took 500 to Plymouth on Saturday despite our poor form recently. I think our average is around 600. There are a lot of Southern games in this league though. The Northern ones tend to see between 200-400 at best.

Of course we did take 6000 to Fulham in round three last season so will be looking to take 8000 to Old Trafford in the New Year for the third round Cheesy

We're averaging about 750 this season. Over 1k at Daggers and Franchise, Most games in and around London we take 1k, as all the london/ home counties lads come out of the warmth, myself included!

We will sell out our allocation easy for this.

Will it be limited to 2 tickets per season ticket holder?

900 to Walsall was a good turnout.

Shame really, the fans are ready for success this season, dont think were going to get much though.
