It's not the best of drives, but fucking hell we could've been drawn somewhere a lot further away.

May make it a train day. Any know what that's like from Swindon?

You'll do the one Mex does in reverse, he can tell you about it.

I nearly jumped out of my chair with excitement when this was drawn.

So did I. And the fact it's at AFC is even better, as I don't think AFC fans will ever want to step into the plastic stadium at Franchise.

Wankleman will be shitting himself if both get through.

We wore red at home to Torquay in the JPT.

Brentford will be wearing their change strip anyhow.

No comparison with Histon as Crawley try and play football.

About 3 hours i'd guess through london.

You can or you can go via Reading and avoid London altogether. It's normally cheaper as well.

bollock, out to crawley then - our non league exit for the decade! reg will be especially happy.

Terrible draw for both sides...the only grain of comfort I take is that Crawley are bound to go bust sometime this season, hopefully in the next 3 weeks.

From the AFC website in response to the Cup draw :

Depending on the outcome of two replays, we have been drawn against Milton Keynes in the FA Cup 2nd round to be played on 27 November.

Most people know the way that Milton Keynes obtained their football club. It was wrong then and it is still wrong now, which makes this fixture very painful for us. However, when we entered the FA Cup we understood that this might happen and we will go about our business professionally and complete the fixture. But we would have preferred that it hadn’t happened. We have no further comment to make at the moment.

Wimbledon supporting mate of mine put it as FA Cup is competition with history and tradition, for proper football fans. Franchise shouldn't even be in it, so for AFC to have to play them almost helps justify their existence and gives them a touch of history and so respectability they don't deserve. Which makes sense, put like that. Hope Stevenage put the fake fuckers out, then everyone's a winner
