Third Test starts tonight. Tremlett is favourite to replace Broad, whilst the Aussies are reportedly not going to turn to Beer but rely on Smith for some leg spin, who Ian Bell smacked all over Hobart.
Could be a very historical 5 days.

Not staying up tonight, will catch the last session before work tomorrow.
I have Friday off though so will be pulling an all nighter to watch day 2.

I have a bad feeling that we're going to come crashing down to earth in this one. Think the break may hinder rather than help us.

It's now been confirmed that Tremlett will play. Don't feel physically able to stay up tonight but an early start sounds like a good plan

England choose to bowl first - and Ponting would have done the same. Very green deck by all accounts.
If that's the right decision the first hour is going to very lively!

47/4 now and Anderson bowling poorly. Imagine what it could be!
Get Hussey out and this could be humiliating for the aussies. Smith's very nervous coming in at 6.

168/6 now. Australia seem to have dug themselves out of it a little, but you'd still rather be in our position now

7 down, Haddin should be the last major resistance. Bloody brilliant way to wake up!
