England win by an innings and 71 runs.

I'll just say that again

England win by an innings and 71 runs.

I love life.

Well that was rather easier than I expected.

Well - am I pissed off - get up at 3 to watch what I think will be the end of the match, to find a replay of the 2009 Ashes. Assume it is raining and go and make myself a cup of tea and on returning to TV discover from SSN that I've missed it all!! Great stuff, but gutted I missed it.
Hope we won't miss Broad too much.

Likewise.  Our youngest started crying at 5am so I selflessly volunteered to get up.  Trooped downstairs to PC, carrying snotty child.  Missed it by hours.

Katich out for the Series as well, might see Phil Hughes again.

I think we will.  Got to feel sorry for Stuart Broad as well...although he never really hit his stride in the first two tests.

Broad bowled bloody well in this test!

Fairly tight...but just one wicket for 71 runs.  I don't think he's been at the top of his game during the last few weeks.

Avoid losing the next two matches and we retain the ashes.

Even better -  win next week and we keep the urn.  Clap Yaaaaaaaay.

A truely great performance from England right the way through the 5 days of play.  I went over to Australia 4 years ago to watch a few Test Matches and have to admit being very jealous of all those people sat in the sun in Adelaide last night.

One thing that strikes me about this series is that England are a TEAM.  You saw the likes of Bresnan, Morgan and Panesar who have been on the sidelines join in and enjoy the success of the playing XI after the final wicket, all giving hugs and high fives.  It was a joy to see.

Whoever looks the most impressive in the warmup game, but I'd like to see Tremlett. I don't think we can really pick Bresnan in a 4 man attack.

Hopefully Tremlett. He looks like hes got that extra bit of class to take the wickets.

Bresnan would get in Australia's team though. Hee haw.

Just a shame there's a break before Perth as the momentum is well and truly with us.  I'm hoping Tremlett comes in for Broad.
