Great day for us but before we get too excited this does ring similar bells to Brisbane but the other way around. This game is far from over. We really do have the Aussies rattled though.

I agree. The First Test ebbed & flowed...that was what made it so compelling. And there's nothing to say the Second Test will not do the same. We need to bat now for 5 sessions and build a lead of 200+. Then we can pile on the pressure in Australia's 2nd innings. But we're not there yet.

I think it does also help that we've had a warm up match on this ground only a few weeks ago.

Like he wouldn't do exactly the same thing at the end of the day...

Waiting for ITV News, will they claim weve won the test already?
Although Ive got some sympathy for Ryan Harris, I dont think any of the replays actually proved he wasnt out. The hotspot on the bat was tiny, and only visible once the bat had stopped moving. You couldnt see a mark as the ball went passed.
Warne seemed to be making out it had taken a massive deflection, it was the smallest of feathers, hes almost completely missed the ball, its a shit shot, thats whats done for him.

When it comes to sledging the Aussies make up the rules as they go along.

Do you think Ponting complained when Warne and McGrath were doing all the sledging back in the days?

sledging is essentially on field bullying, and thats why the Aussies are so good at it.
Classic bully tactics, give it out, then totally overreact at a response. Fuck em.
