Anyone read his book?  Not a literary-tastic read, but as one of my favourite players to don a Town shirt I felt compelled to have a read.  Interesting to see what he says about different management regimes at Swindon.  Andy King's reign sounded like a nightmare - run-down B&Bs for away games where the players arrived at 11pm the night before, endless card games, and even Kingy and Roberts having a drinking competition!  Wise sounds like a real breath of fresh air and had he stayed you have to wonder where we'd be....  Also interesting to note Roberts disliked Peacock at City, and was not a favourite of Danny Wilson's.

He was a bit of a cock but you have to feel sorry for him...  Real shame as he was an excellent talent who could have made more of an impression on the game.

It is a good book.

Malpas was a cock too it seems, (then again we already knew that)
