All this talk about Wilson is bollocks if you look at other teams that get rid of their manager how do they do, even if we had a higher profile manager how long would he stay
Lets move on to the next game

I agree, yesterday was one of the worst performances i have seen from us in a very long time. However, all it needs is one or two loan signings and a decent run and we could back in contention again.

I wouldnt sack Wilson if we finish in the bottom half.

"You're going down, we're going up"

"My garden shed, is bigger than this"

Nice one guys, Bas Savage has been absolute quality for us, but i guess a shit striker will score against shit teams hey?

Do you ever go to your garden shed and then walk out, lock it up, and piss off back inside with nothing?  Well done for doing just that today anyway.  You fucked it at Wembley, and you fucked it today - might i just say, winning in the play offs at the new Wembley is an amazing experience.

Thanks very much you tarts.

PS - If we were poor today, im a fucking somalian with a 14 foot cock.

Fuck off then, pirate.
Bless, you must be absolutely buzzing having taken a scalp of such biblical proportions.

I expect if we are having a mid table season then some of those might even go in January if the right money comes in?

I just don't know why the prospect of Wilson going has to be even mentioned. It's totally fucking pathetic. Also, if I'd not been to the game I would be thinking we were totally shit from start to finish but we weren't. The first half we were not that bad at all apart from in the final third where to be fair, we were pretty bad and the front two were poor (Pericard more so than Dossevi) Yes I know you have to play well for TWO halves of football and to only play for one half is not good enough - we were totally out-muscled in the scond half and they clearly wanted it more - but for fucks sake I wish people could just get little bit of perspective. Had time to reflect after being truly pissed off and in full-on pessimistic mode last night.

Journeyed to the game in high hopes, and my optimism was only bouyed by the turn-out by our fans. Cracking attendance, had to have been at least half of the overall attendance surely? We were in great voice, and Dossevi's goal was of good quality and, being so early on, the signs were there that this could well've been a thrashing. How wrong i was.

From that point on we just stopped playing, persisted with hoofball, and were second best in every department. Dagenham's football wasn't pretty, but whatever it was, it was certainly better than whatever style we were playing. Lucas again proved his worth, keeping us in the game with a series of decent saves. Half time could not come any sooner and, although i was glad to go in leading, i couldn't help but think Wilson better fucking get their arses in gear.

Started slowly in the second half, Dagenham wanted it more, and did what we can't fucking do; turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win. Both goals were poor to concede, the first one could've been avoided had some fucking prick closed Scannell down. The second stemmed from poor defending from a long throw, but how we can let someone score with his back to goal i'll never know. In the space of a week our defence has turned from brilliantly solid to a mistake-prone incosistent mess.

The defeat was hard to take, especially against such an opposition. Apologies for sounding like a Leeds fan, but we shouldn't be losing to fucking Dagenham. Or we shouldn't at least be playing like that.

In terms of individual performances, only Lucas and Caddis spring to me as our stand-out performers. Says alot when you've lose 2-1 and your goalkeeper is still one of your better players. Dossevi must have got into double figures today with the offsides, so frustrating. Pericard was the Pericard of old, was woeful in holding the ball up, slipping around everywhere. Ferry and Douglas were totally ineffective, and provided the forwards with nothing. Amankwaah was awful, Rose was okay, and the centre-half partnership were poor. O'Brien and Bodin actually did well when they came up, and probably provided us with our best spell in the game late on. McGovern also seemed a hell of a lot better than recent weeks, and only a brilliant piece of goalkeeping stopped him from scoring.

Looking back, we didn't deserve to win it, and probably not even have got a draw. Embarrassing defeat, and a major set back in our attempts to climb the table. 4-4-2 needs to return urgently, and even a win in the JPT would be welcome right now. Alot will be forgiven however if we beat Rovers on national TV. Our squad needs improving, and i very much expect Wilson to delve into the loan market, expecting a forward, a midfielder (Timlin recalled or winger?) and maybe even a centre back at least.

The journey back was far from enjoyable. Stuck on the M25 for around two hours, didn't get in until quarter to 11. Coach ran out of food and drink, iPod and phone ran out of battery, and 6 hours on a coach wasn'y my idea of fun.

Keep the faith, Wilson and Fitton are the men to take us forward.

I will put this up and then look back...

Apart from a new ground for my collection and a couple of good pubs near Tower Hill that was totally shit.

Got to the ground at 8 minutes to 3 after being fucked about on the train....missed the goal becausethe Turnstiles had run out of fivers and the guy in front couldnt get in! (I had a fucking ticket as well), also concessions had to go through a special turnstile meaning the bloke in front with a kid had to send his 7 year old kid back out a around to the other side......what a load of bollocks!
Ticket bloke said it was one of those things......my reply......."Yeah if you are totally disorganised!".

We bossed the first (well lots of the ball anyway), without creating much.

Second half was a disaster of scrappy basic mistakes from both sides.....piss poor.

How the fuck can professional footballers of any level let a ball bounce three times? Bas Savage (who was marginally shitter than Vince and Dosevvi) must of thought it was Christmas. Doh

Missed a few chances as well to rub salt in the wounds. Crying

I loved the banter with Roberts the keeper and would of been gutted if he got booked, as he gave as good as he got. Although i thought the Paedo chants were out of order......Chanting someone is a monkey bad.......Paedo good?Huh??

Got back to Chippenham at around 8pm with a headache.......and a few quid skinter....poor... Beers

PS....Why did the lads in the first half get kicked out? No

This makes sombre reading on a rainy Sunday morning but I guess its to be expected after yesterdays performance.

Most has been mentioned but what annoyed me the most was:

-The long ball - utterly fruitless as expected
-Top players of last season not playing anywhere near their best
-Bas Savage's half and half hair colour
-Missing the first goal by about 30 seconds
-Bodin being introduced in a game like yesterdays.  IMO he definitely has what it takes to make it, however I don't think a game like yesterday's was the best time to give him his chance when the rest of the team weren't up to scratch and we were already being outmuscled and outfought by Dagenham

Lucas is fast becoming my favourite player.  Not only because of the great saves he made but by the fact he is able to admit we were shit and not make excuses.

Cant bes arsed to trawl through the whole thread but .............

Just got back and have a little time to reflect on one of the most abject performances I have seen for quite some time, reminded me very very much so of the sort of performances we delivered under Malpas.

Not good enough, simply not fucking good enough.

We have got a threadbare makeshift squad that is full of wannabe's and nearly men.

I have always shouted down people that said we were a one man team, I apologise for that because quite obviously we are.

Dossevi wowed us with his two goals against Forest and I sincerely thought that he could be a perfect foil for Charlie

I WAS WRONG

I gave Pericard massive credit at the Walsall game, thinking that he would now push on

I WAS WRONG

Coming back from injury or not.................... Ferry is a mere shadow of the player that turned out for us last season, as is Douglas, as is JP,

and dont even start me off about Amankwah

Utter fucking gash.

To start an international CF that does not even understand or interpret the offside rule beggars belief !

and before anyone hangs me out to dry, think about today, Plymouth and Walsall, any HALF DECENT striker would have slotted at least 4 of the 10 chances he has had

Bollocks to all this "its only 10 games, we are still gelling shite", we should be a cohesive squad by now.

Something is seriously wrong and I am sorry but going from Play off finalists to what I spent £100 witnessing today is just not acceptable.

Ferry bottled a couple of fifty fifties on the edge of their area at the end....that is unacceptable...turned his fucking back.....shite

I'm not a nasty person.  I came here in the early hours to have a bit of a read up to see what had been said.  I am quite offended - and the attitude of most of you IS like Leeds fans appears to have been.

Yes - I understand why you think you shouldn't be losing to teams like us, but dont you think being up where we are is a bit alien to us too?  16 odd years ago you were a Premiership team, in fact i read someones status on facebook saying that 17 years ago on this weekend you played Blackburn Rovers in the Premier league......we played Altrincham in the GM Vauxhall Conference.  Since then we did drop down a level further too, and played in the Isthmian league for a few years before getting back up.  Literally, in the space of a few years we've gone from away games at Hendon to away games at Sheffield Wednesday - and we are here on merit, and after yesterday - you lot now know that.  We aren't here to boost your point tally come game 46.  We want to stay here.

To the fellow who agreed with me stating i have a 14 foot cock...thanks, its nice of you to say.

And to the bloke who said that by pictures our ground looks like a garden shed...there were almost 200 places for further Swindon fans to get in, one has to question whether there are other garden sheds around that Swindon may be able to fill a section of - as ours is obviously too big.  But well done all the same for looking at pictures and not actually going.  Big.....slow......clap for you.

To the rest of you, and those who did attend, i thought overall the away attendance was absolutely fantastic, thats the second biggest away crowd we have had in there, beaten only by Leyton Orient who filled it a few weeks ago.  Well done, thats a really good away following!

I haven't come here to fight with anyone, but it'd be nice to not see my own team being ridiculed, maybe you are embarrassed but dont be, you aren't the first and you wont be the last.  We got a fight on our hands, any point is thoroughly needed.

I was actually slightly embarassed by the 'garden shed' chants although they were somewhat inevitable. Me and the missus were only talking before the game about what an amazing achievement it is for Dag & Red to be where they are right now (that may sound patronising but it's not meant to) In an area where there are so many other long-established Football League and Premier League clubs and on such limited resources what they are doing is remarkable and fair play.

As a few others have noted, the way Roberts handled the banter today was quality ('peado' though?? again, just embrassing) And he made a bloody good save as well which would have made it 2-2.

And the bit about us fucking up at Wembley and fucking up today? Couldn't agree more mate.

All the best for the season.

When I say it was somewhat inevitable, I meant given the single figure I.Q of the average football fan. I thought the away end was a quite a nice tidy little stand.
