Great performance best of the season by a mile. They had a clear cut chance but that was it really. The formation is working now and looks like it was worth persevering with.
Sheehan and morrison are a breath of fresh air for us and the big thing i will take from the last 2 games is that with Austin missing we have shown we are not a one man team.
Don't tend to have a pop about other teams on here but for fucksake i don't think i have seen a bunch of whinging cunts like that in a long time.
Oh and one last thing a little message to Hudds fans if you ironically cheer the ref 11 times in a match it's not really that ironic.

i think he did his shoulder or something, he motioned towards the bench and pointed at his shoulder straight away.
with regard to the cheating..i tihnk i was a light tap if anything that lead to the guy being down but they were happy enough to attack when they had the ball and he was down. then the ref stopped play
fucking shit interpretation of a pretty simple law
According to the Hudds site, he broke his arm.

What a great game. Thoroughly engrossing
munch munch,
I don't think anyone has played badly, and Prutton and Perricard are really coming into form.
much munch,
The first half it looked like Huddersfield were maybe there for the taking. We contained them well and started to threaten at the other end
munch munch
The only minor criticism is we perhaps weren't as clinical in crossing and in front of the goal as we could have been.
munch munch.
Second half we were even better than in the first half, and a sublime piece of skill from Amankwha in beating two of their players really did paint an image of the the whole of the second half. We basically largely took the piss out of Huddersfield, out muscling them and out footballing them. But while we didn't score from open play, we certainly deserved to.
munch munch
The disallowed goal was never going to be given. There was contact with the keeper. I didn't even get out my chair to celebrate. Whether keepers are over protected is not the issue (they are), this is the world we live in.
munch munch, burp. Thats the humble pie I just finished, I said Morrison wasn't good enough/ready/have enough experience. The season may be young be he has been exceptional in defence so far. The goal was the icing on the cake.

It wasn't even a freekick. The one by Prutton was but Douglas tackle was fine.

What a great team performance that was.....the defence today was the best i have seen in a long while. Very, very hard to give a man of the match....i have always rated Morrison and if he does go his stock is rising very fast. Amankwah gets my MOM for his defending in the first half.....didn't give Alan Lee a sniff and going forward second half he was brilliant though his final ball let him down at times. Got to say against a very good Hudds team all the players came out of this match with massive credit.

Two of the biggest legal tackles I've seen , this week and last, from Dougie. Not nice to hear the lad broke his harm but it was a monster tackle.

Erm, I though he just moved a couple of seats to the end of the row? He was quieter today if it was him. That's how well we played!

Fully agree with the comments on here.
Great ovation for Big Kev for him beating those two Udds players after being on the ground. Have to keep an eye out for that on Showboat next week.
When Lee was on the field they kept on playing lump ball, and we just dealt with the ariel ball. Sheehan was free every time out on the left as an outlet and he took advantage of it. Big Vince had his best game in a Town shirt. I wish they'll announce MoM after 90 mins instead of 80 !!
And one more thing...
Top of the league...You're having a laugh !!!

Agree most of what Rich said. If that is the quality of opposition for top of the league then I am optimistic. Morrison, Pericard and Sheehan ran it close for MOTM today, but I think Vinnie shaded it, just! JP needs to find his form soon. A couple of things, how can you wave play advantage when a player is down and play on for over a minute and then when Hudders lose possesion stop play because of that player, absolute joke! And fat boy Lee up front is a bit of a thug and nothing else really, plays with his elbows up everytime. Tried to rough it up with Dougie and ended up looking like a mug. It was a shame about Roberts, he is a good player, but the tackle was a fair but strong one, even though Lee felt the need to run 30 yards to try a face off with Dougie. On the whole, except for the odd 5 minute spell we totally dominated the game and totally deserved the goal as we were the only team trying to win the game. A boxing match would have ended at half time. On to Plymuff, a repeat would be lovely!

Roberts dislocated his shoulder according to Anthony Marshall.
Agree with that probably being the best performance of the season. Was surprised that Huddersfield appeared to be playing a diamond too, or at least they were until Roberts went off.
Pericard ran his bollocks off again. Some dicks behind me moaned when he was awarded MOTM.
Morrision is a rock. He never lost a header (again - about 3 games in a row now), broke up play well a few times by stepping up and some of his diagonal balls to Sheehan were superb. Hope we don't sell him in January.

On Roberts, from the Uddersfield OS It's a very serious injury and he's in hospital as we speak. He's broken his arm badly in a high area and the specialists are looking at it - whether it needs surgery or just pinning we don't know at the minute, but he will be out for a period of time.
Hope he recovers soon.
