While it's good that the TEF are doing this, aren't we passing up loads of money for charity in not Gift Aiding it? Not sure how the rules around that work but it's a fair %

What are we actually planning to do, other than collecting money? because surely we could just use the just giving page?

It was different for Lennon because the plan was to provide him with some memorabilia.

Not something we can do in this situation?

... im helpin with their scope things..

But they want as many people as they can at the fun day at the toothill tavern, fans too,

And Charlie will be there..

so if you make a collection.. it would be a great idea if you could turn up at the pub and present it to him personally..

Then they can stick it straight on their just giving website..

i think they both would be really chuffed to meet the people who are doing all this..

I suggested the collection as it was such a success with Lennon / Leeds last season. It was great to raise some money for a good cause and to work with fans of another club in the process, hence my suggestion for a joint collection with the Poole Town forum. Obviously there is the Just Giving page, but that way it's somewhat anonymous rather than a group of us from the forum having a whip round and handing over a single decent donation.

Would be good if we can make a decent showing at their fun day as well.
