Was it the Charlton home play off leg where Big Vince headed against the post? He was flat on the ground afterwards for what seemed like ages, obviously distraught. If that had gone in it might have been a very different start to the season. Confidence...yeah, I can understand that.

Yes, although he'd been around a long while by then.

My point was that he looked very upset not to score, as in that he had been trying to for a long time.

I don't like how it's making out the entire fan base was against him.

I quite agree, he looked gutted, he knew that was a chance to rectify 5 months of anonymity.

My point was that my Photoshopped version of the photo taken on the train back from Cheltenham improved with a puppy's head in your avatar actually suits you better than your real bonce.

I still think Pericard is a double agent sent here to infiltrate us by Bobby Gould and Mel Machin.

Really? That never even occurred to me, I just think he came in a little bit mouthy, didn't really get a chance to back it up and then missed a few sitters. I'll be surprised if he gets fewer than 15 this season assuming he gets a run in the team.

He replaced Austin at McDons away which was totally unfair on Austin. To make matters worse he was rubbish. The fans gave him a terrible time that night. It wasnt totally undeserved either.

Used to post on thisis as ShiltonRed (I think) and on the Trust forum as Gerald and distinguished himself in both cases for the sheer wrongness and nuttiness of his contributions. The fact that he even stood out on thisis in this regard speaks volumes, I think. Every forum should have one, I always used to say after one of his (many) splenetic outbursts on the Trust forum that if Gerald didn't exist we'd have had to invent him. Or at least I used to say that once I'd calmed down.
