Assistant manager Peter Shirtliff thinks you should issue a hands off warning.

isn't the transfer window shut, and doubt he'd be allowed to go on loan.

PL clubs can't bring players in on loan whilst the transfer window is closed, only FL clubs can. Plus the PL squad lists are closed until the transfer window re-opens. Though I imagine they could sign him now with it completing in January.

I would suspect we would only sell him if we had a replacement lined up.

Yeh but then we had 3 other CB's but if we sold Morrison we would only have 2. When we sold Greer, it wasnt essential to bring in another CB as we had adequate cover, but if Morisson went, we wouldnt.

Selling Morrison in January would be this season suicide.

Will Evans did good playing out of position, so we've got 4 CB's at the moment. As always though it will come down to money, if someone makes a decent offer for Morrison he'll be gone and we'll bring in someone else if deemed necessary by Wilson.
