My concern is that who will we have on the bench as cover?
I'm still not convinced with the diamond, I'd prefer wingers with Prutton on the bench.

So why did Wilson even offer him a contract? Making some very strange decisions recently is Danny Wilson.

Even more strange when he's just come into the side and we've started playing with 3 central midfielder

Was the contract offered before Prutton/Ferry signed? Tis indeed a strange one!

Before but then why sign Prutton/Ferry.We could really have survived without Prutton anyway in my opinion. Stinks of releasing someone to bring someone in.
Considering up until saturday he was a starter we have basically loaned out a first team player.

He started 1 cup game and 1 league game, does not make him a first team player. Can't see the fuss about this personally, it will benefit him playing games out there and if he really finds some form then he will come back and do well for us, we cant lose.

Is there a midfielder coming in on loan??? Timlin may have been told he's even further down the order.

He's not good enough for where we want to be in my opinion. An honest trier, and given time on the ball looks an accomplished player. But with no time on the ball he looks dogshite.

...but...if we are bringing in another midfield on loan - why do we need Timlin out the way first?

To keep him match fit in case we suffer an 'injury crisis' and he needs to be called upon. I'd be very suprised if there wasn't some sort of recall clause involved

Harsh on Timlin but a neccessary departure.
Promoting players from last season's bench into this years first team just isn't progress.
Good luck to him.
