Why do the commentators refer to Tottenham's game tonight being their first in the Champions League?
Surely the pre-group stages are as much a part of the Champions League, so their qualifiers would have been their first in the competition.

Pompey are worse, despite paying crap players on loan £19/20k a week...and they've got a certain AA 'helping' them.

Looking at a few of the crowd figures for the Championship this season (such as Millwall's 11,000 vs Reading last night), I think we would probably fit in there quite nicely one day.

i see shitty are getting beat at home, have they got a manager yet
A good mate of mine is a Watford fan so I went to this last night. City were absolutely shite. Worst team I've seen at that level for a long time.

Arsenal looked pretty awesome again tonight. Good result for Chelsea as well. Man Utd look a bit shit at the moment.

I just wonder if Arsenal can last the season playing so well though. They always seems to slip up or drift away at some point.
