So what do people reckon the attendance will be on saturday?

Apparently saints have sold out their allocation for the arkells & bank, so 2700 away support.

I would hope this to be our biggest gate of the season, would be disappointed with anything less than 12500 tbh.

The offer for adkins has been withdrawn as the clubs could not agree compensation...so a managerless saints with poor form & our recent record against them = our first league win of the season.

Hoping for a cracking atmosphere with everyone getting behind the team, come on u reds !!!

12,150 (3,000 bewildered saints ready to turn on their own board/players!)

I know it's cliche but scoring the first goal on Saturday could be vital. If we get it, watch s'oton heads drop!

We have beat the Saints in the last 3 matches and haven't lost at home to them since 1963 (7 home matches)

I predict a draw with 11,963 crowd.

I was at that game in 63.....if memory serves, their winner was scored by Terry Paine, who may have been in the WC squad of 66.  Martin Chivers was also there around that time...

When we played them last season, I knew we had a terrible record at the Dell in my time, and was surprised to see their struggles here.....thought I'd keep quiet about it, for obvious reasons.

Southampton have not sold out, and have 600 tickets available for the Stratton bank on the day.

Are your mates giving you the 'we're the such a big club that we cant get tickets'? When in fact they dont really want to travel?

It's probably both true - they've sold all their advance tickets but we still have 600 to sell to them on the day.
