Fair play to the Adver, I thought that they were just going to smuggle in a camera phone and produce some dodgy, grainy images so the Subbuteo thing was a smart move from them.
It pisses all over Plymouth's cartoon images too. Bunch of amateurs.

Credit where it's due, these were genuinely imaginative and funny. And worked a lot better than you might imagine. Showed them to the Saints fan at work today and he cracked up, before reflecting on how this ongoing ban is making Saints look like arses. Which I'd guess is precisely the reaction the Adver were aiming for

All my games of subbuteo used to end up in a match of standing as far back from the table as you could and playing the one bounce before the half way line and then straight in to the goal throwing the ball game. It's quite similar to the longest stream of words without any punctuation game I play on the forum now
