Pericard double is worth the wait

SEVEN-AND-A-HALF months, 21 appearances and 465 minutes – but Vincent Pericard went some way to silencing his doubters last night with an outstanding two-goal display as Swindon dumped holders
Southampton out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

You're quite correct sir, although he played 89 minutes in the home play-off game against Charlton last season.

I dont mean to be smug and pick you up on this sonicyouth but I am pretty sure he didnt play 89 minutes against Charlton and only came on in the last 10-15 minutes or so.

I think as Paynter was missing it was Austin and Ward who started up front with Alan Alan O'Brien starting on the left wing.

Quote from: Adver
Championship side Portsmouth also enquired about the highly-rated front man only to be told he was not for sale.

What? So your finances are sorted, you've fucked this debt off?? Cunts. I felt sorry for your predicament, but to think you spend money and start showing you've learnt fuck all from this past year is infuriating. Things like this, as well as Notts County's attitude in pre-season shows something bad needs to happen. A club or 2 MUST fold to stop this stupidity.

Im with you!  Non football debts aren't getting paid, even down to bloody salisbury.  Taxes owed to the national purse are not getting paid.  The clubs are fucking the taxpayers.  Why should we effectively bankroll football clubs and bad administration of the clubs.

I am of course aware of the massive hypocrisy of a fan of a club who has been in admin twice saying this.

You're absolutely correct, my memory was playing tricks on me.

The longest he'd stayed on during a game he'd started was 58 minutes away at Franchise in March apparently!

As I said, Im aware of the hypocrisy.  However football as a sport and as a business cannot continue like this and I object to taxpayers being fucked over constantly to prop up poor running of football clubs.

I wouldn't have said it 3 years ago when we were in the shit but Ill say it now when other people are!

yeah I know wasn't a dig at you. Call me mad but I do think football clubs are different to most other business ventures in that they mean so much to the community.

(and on na more practical note they stand a much higher chance of being bailed out then another business e.g Fitton and us.
