Especially since he's only managed half a game for Brighton so far and that ended in tears!

 Cheesy

More what we lost when he left, than what he's done at Brighton (but I guess you know that, and wanted to make an amusing point, which you did).

The spine of the team is fucked.

We are not playing those who perfomed best last year and without Greer and Paynter the whole team is shot. We have not bought in players anywhere good enough and even those that are we are not playing them (Ferry).

We have gone backwards over the summer. We are not playing well as a team or individually.

harping on back to last season is a complete waste of time. Its a different team with different problems.

As someone who didn't think we'd miss Greer that much, I was totally and utterly wrong in every conceivable way. We miss Paynter, Ward and perhaps even Sheehan but for Greer's minor faults, he's left a massive void in our side.

The atmosphere today was dead quiet at times but you couldn't hear any of our players aside from Lucas.

I still maintain that Dossevi will come good, he looks class.

Exactly, we're missing his leadership qualities and Brighton aren't benefiting from them either.  The fact that he's only managed half a game for Brighton would be highly amusing if we were doing well, as it is  Sad

Maybe its a confidence thing? I think once the players get that first win, things will improve. When that first win comes is another matter.

First game today since Brighton due to being away. Thought we were poor. No urgency,no idea of how to break down a pretty very weak Franchise team. For me, Prutton doesn't offer anything.Very dissapointed as I was really looking forward to this game. Can't put my finger on what he problem is, but there clearly is one.

Got back about an hour ago. We were shit, they were shit. The really worrying thing is teams don't need to play well or be decent to beat us. No invention going forward and terrible defensively.

Lucas - Kept us in with some brilliant saves. The one that lead to the corner for the first looked unbelievable from our end. Probably our MoM.

Back 4 - CBs were fine but may be at fault for the goals? FBs were gash. Caddis is alright on the ball, but neither seem to be able to defend. Kev had a fucking mare when he came on!

Midfield: Prutton was gash again, and a absolute cock for his sending off. He had a nibble at their GK just before, and just seems to be a twat. Dougie was really good second half, but him and Cuthbert seem to be so frustrated with the majority of the other players. AOB was decent, despite the god-awful abuse he was copping off the row of dicks behind me. JPM was the JPM of 2 seasons ago. Worst performance for a very long time!

Austin wasn't fit, Dossevi was our best player first half, but why does DW always take him off? I want Pericard to come good, but he was just shit again.

Overall, the blip isn't a blip. The patience is wearing thin and my optomism that we're unlucky, or just need to get rid of mistakes is wrong. We were bad today, no doubt, and were lucky to be in any kind of winning situation to begin with.

The problem now is that we go to Carlisle with players missing, and then host Soton. Win niether of those and DW is under pressure, like it or not. I would hate to seem him get even close to losing his job, but with two tough games coming up, we could have only 3 or 4 points from 6.

Last year we performed above the wage budget, but now, following further investment over the summer, we will be in the top 6 or 8 in terms of budget, and if that doesn't transpire to the pitch DW will lose his job, but more seriously, the money will dry up, and the push for the Champ will stop, impacting the ground redevelopment and future stature of this club.  In five years time, we're either Preston-like or Col-U like, and alot of it comes down to this season, being the third full season since the takeover.

A couple of final notes - the ground will be immense when its finished, every MK fan is a cunt, our support was quite poor and I can't see me doing another away game until we've improved massively.

Tuesday is huge, a CB and ST as a minimum, a left mid and left back would be nice, maybe in one player, particularly for away games.

As regards the atmosphere youve got to remmember that MK doesnt appeal to a lot of the fans who make the atmosphere. No pubs, no train station. I rekon Carlisle and Walsall we will have decent support.

Yeah I agree Spence, its a shit away day. My point was that I'm not going away again until the team improves, not the fans, but to be honest after today and Hartlepool I've lost alot of enthusiasm. Probably still be at Walsall mind.

It helps that they are proper football clubs, too.

Apologies if any of this has already been stated as I have only just got in.
The atmosphere within the ground is awful and at times resembled a reserves match, in that you can hear the players communicating on the pitch.
I thought that we were awful in the 1st half but improved considerably and were playing well at the time of the equaliser. We switched off when Lewington went for the short corner.

My player view:

Lucas- Steady and some excellent saves
Caddis- Was expecting so much from him and frankly I am disapointed. He just seems too small to be a full back
Cuthbert-Ok, but his distribution is poor
Morrison- Ok, but will improve with a run in the team and an experinced "vocal" CB partner
Rose-See Caddis but only worse. Distribution is poor. Awful pass to Prutton which resulted in him loosing possesion and
        then getting sent off
JPM- Not the same this year
Dougie-2nd half was his best this season but still not a patch on last season. Not a captain!
Prutton- I like him. Not sure that him and Dougie are the best partnership
"No Brain-This man is exasperating and, were it not for his speed, would not be a professional footballer. Does not have a clue what to do defensively, but especially offensively, when he does not have the ball.
Austin- Not on fire yet but is still giving his all.
Dossevi-Looks like he could have something but is clearly not match fit
Vinnie-Thought that before they equalised he had his best 20 mins in a swindon shirt. Will reserve judgement until he
      gets his 1st goal
Ball-Tried Hard
Manky-Awful

Lets not have any kneejerk reactions to a poor start to the season. DW is still the best that we have, or are likely to get.
Keep the faith!

Agree with all that, Prutton should not be playing, We paid aa good amount of money for Ferry yet Wilson doesn't play him? I'm baffled.

Norwich fan's warned us that Rose was an awful player and he hasn't done very well so far i hope things change.

As for Wilson he's probably already under pressure, Can't see Fitton being very happy at all with how we've started and remember that Fitton likes a run in the cups, Malpas was sacked after going out of the FA Cup and JPT, We're already out of the Carling Cup and could go out of the JPT trophy on Tuesday.

I think the next 3 or 4 games are massive and massive for Wilson also.
