are they though? players poor form is down to opinion.i really think the missing players are the biggest factor.
who is under performing in your opinion?
you have to remember that certain players not being at it can impact on other players games too.look at it as the players being spokes on a wheel.get a few bent spokes and the wheel buckles.

I've listed them elsewhere and don't wish to be too much of a parrot, but the whole team is wrong and whilst I don't doubt the impact of the players we lost, the rest haven't lived up to expectation.

McGovern, Douglas and even Austin would be some of my concerns.

Douglas hasn't been as good, JP hasn't been as good, Cuthbert hasn't been as good, Austin hasn't been as good. That's who isn't performing at the moment as well as they were last season.

douglas doesn't have ferry alongside him,jp doesn't have amankwaa linking up with him, cuthbert doesn't have greer alongside him, austin doesn't have paynter alongside him.

As regards gelling and going forward, they do look like they are yet to gel, but weve shown no signs of improvement in 5 games.

We need a rapid improvement for next saturday. We cant go a month before we start looking like a team. Some players are still coasting in pre season mode.

Austin didn't get in the game at all today, whether that's related to the fact he hasn't trained all week or not is anyone's guess.

I thought O'Brien put in some good crosses today but his overall game is very pedestrian.

We've only played 5 games so far this season, are things really that bad and do we really need to panic?! I don't think so. Give the boys a chance. I think its down to expectations from last season.

Austin played without Paynter last season and looked decent and so did McGovern.

Maybe I'm playing a bit of devil's advocate but it's by no means as black and white as we all want to make out.

I agree with this point of view the most.

Our form is relegation fodder. The players need a wake up.

Shipping this many goals to shit teams = an uphill battle of a season.

We haven't played well for a whole 45 minutes this season, we've shown glimpses of last season's form but only in patches.

Like others have said, we're shipping goals at an alarming rate through individual errors and overall poor defending. I don't think anybody is panicking (on here at least) but are rightfully concerned

Any team who does the double over Leeds and Saints have had a good season.
I am not getting to worried after five matches...but i have a bad feeling about this with regards DW.

doing the double over leeds & saints was superb, agreed, but it doesnt make a season, my point was, we didnt look nothing special in the run in last season, and  that trend is continuing this season

I have only seen David Prutton twice, today was the second time but I really don't know how this man played in the Premiership a while back. Absolute garbage, I'm gutted he isn't given a 3 match ban - fucking awful.

You can tell by the way he strolls around the pitch that he thinks he's better than he is, him and Douglas don't work together and I was very surprised to see him start today. If he starts next Saturday then Ferry will be wondering what he has to do to get in the side.

Am I right in saying it took us 44 minutes to have a shot? We hadn't even had an effort off target, fuck all. Started the second half well I thought but once we were 2-1 down we never looked like scoring.

From what I have seen of Caddis, he is no better than Amankwaah (awful in his cameo today) and doesn't seem like a defender, would be better on the right of midfield.

As for Rose....he was better than last week but I haven't seen worse distribution from a Town player since Jerel Ifil.

It's obvious we need a centre back and a striker, will we get them both? I'd be surprised, I think we'll sign a centre half but I'm worried about where the goals are going to come from if Austin is injured/having off day. Pericard was ok for the first 5 minutes he was on the pitch I thought but after that he wasn't in the game what so ever and given away foul after foul.

Dossevi had an effort on target before we scored, unless that's what you mean.

This is dead right.  In the last 10 games (not including the play-offs), we've picked up 8 points out of 30.  Only 1 of those games was a win (3-2 against Brentford in the last home game of the season!)  I'd be surprised if there's another team who didn't end up being relegated who have picked up less?

On the plus side, it's a pretty shite run which surely has to come to an end soon?

It's obvious we need a centre back

Damn right, but we've known that all along, I just hope the right guy is out there.  Right now selling Greer looks like a fucking stupid decision.

Yeah thats the shot I was on about.

Not good enough really, we really missed someone in the middle to create something.

Especially since he's only managed half a game for Brighton so far and that ended in tears!
