I think its more a case of the E.C.B being stupid.Why are the ashes starting so late?If they started sooner  cricket would take centre stage ,as it should because it is our summer sport.

it should be starting sooner...starts at the end of july? should start at the end of june at least.

errr.... looking at the schedule how do you propose they moved it closer to june?

unless you scrapped the natwest challenge but they were never going to do that because of all the $$$$$

well yeh boeta i know it wouldn't be logical but there are quite a few games isn't there? could try and cut it down, dunno if that would work. and yeh obviously money is a big factor!

But it is stupid having it late in the summer....
