At number 20:

Quote
Joey Beauchamp, Oxford United to West Ham United, £1m, June 1994
Some players just don't travel, but that mainly concerns payers from, say South America re-locating to, perhaps, Middlesbrough. Not blokes from Oxford heading to East London. But Beauchamp grew so homesick after joining West Ham that he left after two months (and no games) to the relative familiarity of Swindon.

I just thought I'd mention it (sorry if posted elsewhere)

Where is Eric Djemba-Djemba (so bad they named him twice) in that list?

And Ali Dia, who was taken off playing for Southampton as he was so shit after 20 mins.

I couldn't believe Ali Dia was missing either, Souness' finest hour as manager  Smiley

Asprilla was definately not one of the worst signings - they have missed out Albert Luque and Marcelino

Newcastle have a bit of a monopoly this topic.....what about Carl Cort 7 mill. Scored 7 goals in nearly 4 years....

I always liked the line when Shola Ameobi was asked how Bobby Robson pronounced his name....answered Carl Cort.

Had a few in the premier season. Frank McAvennie remains a bad memory.
