Allright there, I have been told there is a possibility of you getting him on loan for 1 month. I extremely doubt this but I wondered if any of you lot have heard this ?. It's probably the same level as bullshit rumour we got going at the moment TBH, some people think we are getting Jason Roberts on a 3 month loan

Yes it is.

I heard we might be signing Wayne Allison from Bristol City. They think he's a donkey.

I bet he scores a 20 yard screamer past them.

Allison would be a good signing at this level unlike that nobody Steve Finney.

Harsh.

You've probably never seen him play. At least wait till he's played a few games for us before you judge.

Lot of money for a journeyman striker....not sure where all this dosh is coming from. Hope we're not storing up problems fro the future....still Rikki seems like a trustworthy fella.

Thorney is too Injury-Prone. Mark my words, he WILL be retired from pro-football by 1999.

Reg, we should still have all the Fjortoft money to spend. All 1.3m of it!

I think I'll still be bitter about that in 15 years time.

Well a quarter of it went on Drysdale....let's hope we see a bit more of him this season otherwise, he'll become known as Lord Lucan in the dressing room.

You'll get over it,.. just like my hatred for John McGinley...

Not sure about Allison or Finney scoring enough myself, we need goals from midfield too...big season for Horlock IMO

I've got at inkling we're gonna walk to the Division 2 title. I reckon we'll only lose 4 league games this season.

I'm also hopeful of a good cup run.
