Just heard on the radio he has had enough already...

Are they in the Bundesliga now?

Sky are confirming this, and Millen, who was caretaker after Johnson left last season, has been made manager already.

On the Mirror site too. Love this bit: Coppell feels he is fighting a losing battle with an ageing squad that is not up to the task of gaining promotion

Keith Millen has got the job on a 3yr deal...bit risky for them. Think David James will be handed the number 2 role now.

Now that would be funny. Looks as if Bristol are appointing Keith Millen (Assistant Manager), however.

One of the posters on OTIB says he feels sorry for anybody who put money on City to go up... as if Coppell leaving is the reason they won't do it. Deluded inbreds.

I did think Coppell was a good fit for Reading Bristol when they appointed him. He has already taken one club up to the Premiership on similar resources. A lot of BC's fans seem genuinely stunned by this.
Edited. I'm a muppet.

Not suprised. How would we feel if Wilson said "nah, can't be arsed with this" after 2 games!

The last time they made an internal appointment Tinnion for Wilson, he signed a couple of our players....Hoofwood and Grunt Sniff. Hopefully Millen wont look to do something similar...
