Lets put the last two game behind us and look forward.

Nothing against Amankwaah, just that Caddis looked a bit good last night. I also think Dossevi and Austin could be a good partnership if the new fella can go 90 minutes without being decapitated.

That left hand side terrifies me if i am honest. Attacking wise and defensive.
Can see us packing our midfield for away games although i personally would play the following.
Lucas Big Kev LJF Cuthbert Rose
Caddis Ferry Dougie AOB JPM
Austin

I see the thinking behind that, but I think we're at our most dangerous with McGovern getting balls into the box.

Lucas Caddis Cuthbert LJF Rose Ferry Douglas Dossevi JPM AOB Charlie
The front three behind Charlie would have the freedom to do what ever they want. Ferry's energy and partnership with Dougie would bring the best out of each other, and if we knick a lead it's easy to slot into a 451 or 442. The key for me though is having Lucas back asap

I'd go with that too. I see nobody had gone with Prutton. I think he is a good player, however something doesn't feel right with the balance of midfiled with him and Douglas there. Of course I could be wrong and they are just a bit short of games as a pairing!

For me, it's not to do with disliking Prutton as I think he will come good. It's just that it hasn't clicked and we really need to get some points on the board, for confidence as much as anything. Ferry and Douglas worked last year so I'd go with that as a 'safer' option.

I would go with the same team as Panda Paws. As we are away from home go 4-5-1 and try to grind out a 1-0, we haven't got into a decent pattern of play yet and Hartlepool is a tough place to go. Dossevi could be pretty useful wide right from what I have seen of him so far.
If Lucas is back that will make a huge difference to the team. I'm sure Cuthbert and LJF would be a lot more confident with him behind them than Smith.
