i'm 100% sure many kids never get any fruit.cows milk is for er cows.fruit juice is much healthier |

I disagree. Fruit juice is high in sugar and it'd really erode young teeth. Milk has Calcium and is good for teeth. Kids should be given Brawndo. It's got electrolytes and has everything plants crave. |

Certainly in my kids school they have snacktime everyday where they are given fruit to eat. Fruit juice in moderation is good for them. Milk is absent from diets for some children which is why it is given to them.
Regardless of all this it was total bollocks anyway. What is it going to save scrapping that programme? Fuck all. There are better ways of saving money. Get football clubs to pay all the taxes they are supposed to for a start.

I was going to link to a clip from the film Idiocracy, which is what it's from, but Google appears to have gone down! I noticed problems with some of their services about 10minutes ago, but now YouTube has broked as well as Analytics. I think that's quite funny.

Think I read it would have saved 59 mill....obviously the minister involved thought it worth doing, but was then undermined by Cameron, who didn't want the Thatcher...milk snatcher...comparison. |
