The railway to Corfe Castle is the stuff of dreams!
Damn right....when last there a couple of years back, I had a fit young Czech bird in tow. The 30 year age gap means it will stay the stuff of dreams.

The railway sounds good. We enjoyed the ones at paignton and minehead and even if it aint this sounds like a day out.
Looks like there is plenty to do in dorset so may not go to brighton now.
You might as well squeeze in Studland beach whilst you're over there. The nudist area is to the left.

Southampton might be alright for a day, don't see why you'd want to go their for a holiday though.
Charmouth and lyme regis seemed quite charming from what i remember

I like Portland, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Could get a train to Bournemuff.
Portland is really nice, some stunning views when your on the road that has water either side, obviously the lighthouse is there if the kids want to visit it.

Such a stunning part of the world.
I may live in (or near) paradise, and yes the islands out here are breathtaking at times. But nothing quite matches the rugged beauty of Britain's coastline.

Quite. Second Branscombe (although technically I think its in Devon) and try the Masons Arms for a spot of grub. There's also a bloody awesome farm shop just outside Bridport which does excellent lunches, Washingpool I think its called. Monkey World is good, if a tad expensive for what it is.

Abbotsbury is lovely, and Chesil Beach, which it's near is worth seeing. I think a big chunk of it's shut at the moment because it's nesting season, but there's a good few miles of it anyway
