Hmmm are we getting to the point here where all phrases are disliked by someone? Or is it just modern 'Offlish' examples? How about 'as bright as a button' or 'as bent as a nine bob note'?

What Does Silo Mentality Mean? An attitude found in some organizations that occurs when several departments or groups do not want to share information or knowledge with other individuals in the same company. A silo mentality reduces efficiency and can be a contributing factor to a failing corporate culture.
