I'm heading to Bath for a night out at the theatre and beers and shit in Bath in a couple of weeks, but don't want to stay there. Anyone know how much a cab back is?

I just got somone a cab to Bristol and they charged them £50,so probably £40.

Beers and shit? Is this some kind of sick new drinking game? Just you sounded so cultured going to the theatre. I'd make sure I did the theatre first. I paid £60 for a cab from Bath to Swindon in early hours of 26th May 2003 (a bank holiday), the day before Wolves beat Sheff Utd 3-0 in the play off final. I remember this because there was plenty of fans trying to kick the shit out of each other as I waited at a taxi rank. Probably doesn't help you though. |

Yeah. I was very drunk and had vommited though, don't think it's the standard fare. The last trains at quater to 11 i think, couldn't you get that? |

That is the problem with the trains around here, they're way too early. When I was younger I missed out on the end of loads of gigs in Bristol cos the last train was at 11pm or something daft.

Another option is to camp... http://www.newtonmillpark.co.uk/I am staying there on Saturday night after a night out in Bath so will be able to give you a better verdict on the campsite after the weekend if you would like? It costs £10 per person for a simple tent and it is only a 5-10 minute taxi into the centre of Bath. |

Best bet is to get a quote in advance and call out one of the Swindon firms (SN1 or V cars). They are the cheapest.

I think some of it was to do with puking, the rest was just him mugging me off |
