1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Best Charlton Away in the play-offs. Worst Gillingham away or Wovers at home.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

I think we'll do well. I hope we'll be in the play-offs again, but would love an auto place.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

More strength in depth than last season and we're far more versatile. Dossevi looks like a lower league Drogba and Ferry and Caddis are the sort of players we could only dream of signing previously.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

There's none I wanted to get rid of.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Billy Bodin or Charlie Austin. Smiley

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

He's the bollocks and yes he will be.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Fitton is every football supporters dream of a chairman. Candid, open, heart on his sleeve and like one of the fans. If a bit better spoken and not so sweary.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Brighton, because they've suddenly become more arrogant then Leeds and have decided they're also as big as Leeds. Only with 80% less supporters.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Saints should win, if they can overcome their managerial disadvantage. I refuse to tempt fate with any other predictions other than Brentford might slip in, Plymouth won't and Peterborough aren't gonna be quite the force some think.

Relegated will be Exeter, Dagger, Tranmere, Rochdale.

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.
Better than expected, all I wanted was a single digit finish, would have been delighted with ninth.  Best moment was the winning penalty at Charlton, worst moment was half time in that game when we played as if Steve McMahon was managing us, like the Swindon of old, it was awful.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?
We should be good for promotion, with the changes to our squad we are good enough for a top 2 finish, trouble is so are a few others.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?
Much stronger than last year, provided Dossevi scores.  We have competition for every place instead of just a good first eleven like last year.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?
None of them, Danny Wilson has built an excellent squad.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?
Hopefully Sean Morrison, but as most of our squad are young it could be almost any of them!

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?
Danny Wilson is doing a superb job, got us playing good football and has built a squad to challenge.  He also understands what the board are trying to do here, so I reckon he'll stay.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Couldn't be happier.  They are gods to a man.  There is no better chairman in football.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?
Brighton, I am still bitter about the playoff defeat in 2004.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down.

1. Southampton, 2. Swindon Town, 3. Huddersfield Town, 4. Sheffield Wednesday, 5. Brentford, 6. Peterborough United, 21. Oldham, 22. Milton Keynes, 23. Rochdale, 24. Carlisle

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

We got to the play off final, which was excellent considering most of would have been happy with a top half finish after battling relegation last year and losing Simon Cox in the Summer.

Beating Charlton at their place in the second leg of the play off semi despite losing our first choice goalie to immediately losing our goalie to injury, scoring an own goal and having our captain sent off. Beating Leeds 3-0 twice was also very special, given their big club mentality. It gave us a lot of belief.

Worst moment was being thrashed by Bristol Rovers for the second time in the season.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

After achieving the play offs last season our goal has to be automatic promotion. I think we might well come second. We be up there somewhere.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

We lost Greer our captain and a good central defender to Brighton in what was a shock move for all of us. However since then we've signed Ferry from Celtic who did really well for us on loan last year, Caddis also from Celtic who can play RB or on the wing and Dossevi, an african striker who we're getting on a free from Nantes and who played really well in the friendly against Forest, scoring twice.

Charlie Austin is still at the club and is a key player for us. He famously stepped up from non-league last season and went immediately into our first team scoring loads of goals. He should get 25+ goals if he stays fit and I've put £20 on him to be top goalscorer.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

Vincent Pericard. Although hopefully he will start scoring given game time.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

I really hope this is the year that Sean Morrison properly steps up and gets a decent number of starts as I think he's showed before that he really has something. Given we are starting the season with just three central defenders it seems likely he'll get his chance.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Danny Wilson has been a great manager for us, the best in years. I fully expect him to still be here at the end of the season. He has us playing passing football wherever possible, has an eye for a bargain and seems to get along great with our chairman.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Pretty much everyone is extremely happy with our chairman Andrew Fitton and our backroom staff. He saved the club from extinction and the progress off the field has been outstanding. He runs the club sensibly and it is a massive contrast with our previous regime.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Bristol Rovers. They are our biggest local rivals in this league and they thrashed us twice last year so we need revenge.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champions - Southampton
Runner up - Swindon Town

Play Offs - Sheff Weds, Charlton, Huddersfield, Plymouth

Relegation - Tranmere, Yeovil, Rochdale, Dag & Red

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Very good season. Charlton away in the play offs or doing the double over Leeds "6-0 on aggregate", worst moment losing at home to rovers.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

We will push on this season and achieve automatic promotion in 2nd.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

A much stronger squad now with the new signings, added quality all over the pitch.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

I wouldn't get rid of any of our squad.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Charlie Austin once again.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Think he is the best manager in the league and yes he will be.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Andrew Fitton is a great chairman and has worked wonders at the club.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Brighton, they have beome such a big club apperently, would be lovely to put them back in their place.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

1. Saints 2. Swindon Play Offs: Plymouth, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield and Brentford. Relegation: Hartlepool, Oldham, Dag & Red and Tranmere.

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Probably over exceeded expectations (even tho' I predicted 5th). Best moment (s) doing the double over Leeds and Saints, and the Charlton play-off games (if there were 2 better games last season...I never saw them). Worst moment...the Wembley pitch and that bobble.

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

We'll be around the auto spots. Our squad it stronger than last season with the signings of Prutton, Ferry and Caddis. If Charlie continues scoring and Dossevi shows the form like he did against Forest we'll be shocking the 'so-called' experts again.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

We've probably got our best squad for 15 years. With the signings of Caddis, Ferry and Prutton, we might just have the best midfield in this division.

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

None I can think of.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Charlie Austin (again), and hopefully Sean Morrison will turn up to the plate.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Danny Wilson is quickly earning 'God-like' status. He's probably the best manager in the league and yes, he'll be still here at the end of the season.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

Stupid question. Our Chairman Andrew Fitton is a legend in saving the club, and with the Chief Exec Nick Watkins turning the club around. We've gone from having a dodgy kit and a main sponsor, who went into admin, and now we've got an Adidas made kit and probably the coolest main sponsors in FourFourTwo magazine and EA Sports.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

Brighton, as they think they are such a big club (like Leeds) as they are moving to a new stadium in a years time.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champs - Saints
R-Up - Swindon

Play-offs : Huddersfield, Sheff Wed, Plymuff and Brentford

Relegated : Hartlepool, Daggers, Rochdale and Yeovil

1. How did you fare last season? Best moment, worst moment etc.

Losing Play-off finalists. We fared very very well. I think most would have settled for a top-half finish, especially after losing Cox to West Brom, as this would have represented progress from the previous relegation threatened season.

Best moments for me were the away wins at Southampton (1-0), Leeds (3-0) and Charlton (5-4 on pens in the playoffs).

Worst moment was 'that bobble' which denied Charlie Austin a certain goal at Wembley against Millwall. We didn't deserve to get anything from the game but when that chance went wide, our season's hopes went with it!

2. How do you think you'll do this season? Hopes, final position?

I think we'll do even better this season because we have a quality squad in place from game 1. I hope we can shock alot of people and win the league but I have a feeling that we'll have to settle for a play-off place again because there's some good teams about.

3. What's your squad like, new signings, etc?

Compared to the squad that finished last season, there have been many changes. Billy Paynter, unsurprisingly, left for Leeds United once it was confirmed we were staying in League One. The shock departure was Gordon Greer to Brighton in a  quarter of a million pound deal. Greer was club captain and a key part of our success last season. It seems Danny Wilson is putting his faith in Jean-Francois and Morrison to fill Greer's boots.

Darby (Liverpool), Sheehan (Leeds United), Ward (Bolton) and Nouble (West Ham) have all returned to their parent clubs while Simon Ferry has made his loan move from Celtic permanent in a 350k deal that also saw Paul Caddis move to the County Ground. The only loan incoming so far has been 21 year old striker David Ball from Manchester City. These additions along with the experienced free transfers of Rose (left back), Prutton (centre midfield) and Dossevi (forward) have got fans buzzing about the new season!

4. Which player would you happily get rid of?

Michael Timlin could find it very tough to dislodge the central midfield threesome of Douglas-Ferry-Prutton and for this reason I'd be happy if he found pastures new. Timlin was a first choice two years ago, and the fact he's now fourth choice shows we've got great squad depth.

5. Which youngster will make the biggest impression in your team this season?

Not classing Cuthbert/Ferry/Austin as youngsters... I hope it will be Sean Morrison at centre-half. Hard to believe he's still only 19/20 years old and the departure of Greer gives him a fantastic chance to be the commanding defender we know he can be.

6. What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Wilson's fantastic from a fans perspective. The team plays good football, we have a bit of steel through the middle and his work in the transfer market is almost unrivalled. It appears that Wilson is a very well connected man.

I hope and pray that he'll still be here at the end of the season because it'll hopefully mean we've gone up. The only scenario I can envisage scuppering this is if one of his old clubs from the Premier League days (Sheff Wed, Barnsley) comes back in for him and Wilson can't ignore the romance of it all.

7. Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?

I believe Swindon Town have some of the most considered and thoughtful chairman/boards in the country. They are magnificent in pushing the club forwards in PR terms. Partnerships with FourFourTwo magazine and Samsung for example. All this alongside our footballing partnerships with huge club's like Celtic, Liverpool and Manchester City. So long as Fitton et al are in charge, I can only see Swindon Town making forward strides.

8. Which team do you want to beat the most and why?

The two thrashings at the hands of Bristol Rovers last season still hurt. I'd like to give them a stuffing! After that, Southampton or Plymouth as they were my University haunts.

9. Predict your champions and runner up, the four Play-Off teams and the four
to go down

Champions: Southampton
Runners-up: Huddersfield Town

Play-offs: Swindon Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth Argyle and Brighton and Hove Albion

Relegated: Walsall, Dagenham and Redbridge, Rochdale and Franchise
