Just been flicking through the channels and came across ESPN classic and literally just missed the highlights of the 1993 play-off final.
Just checked and it is repeated at 1.50am for those late night people.

and they wore blue! Actually, come to think of it....when we played Sunderland in 1990 we wore red that day. I think they played in their away strip (yellow shirts???) I was there and can't remember for sure  |

They've been playing that game for a few months on ESPN Classic, first time I saw it was a few weeks before Wembley.
I'm sure it's just me, but I thought we look fucking shit in that game compared to now. Why is that?

It's a shame that the 1990 Play - Off final isn't broadcast,which would show just how much we dominated Sunderland that day. However,i'm not sure that Chalky or Big Dunc would want to watch the game again,given the ammount of chances that they missed on that hot and sunny day in May!  |
