Between them maybe but not each of them. We certainly are paying decent wages at this level.

The first thoughts that came to this Swindon fans mind:

Hope the board know what they are doing and not risking the club future will these cash buys. I heard the Celtic pair have come in on top money. I love to go up but I don't want to risk the future of the club if we fail to get promotion. Don't get me wrong loving all the new signings and think we gave a great chance... this year. But it not like your find an extra 5,000 people turning up each week if we are doing well. I just fear for the club if the money men walk away!!

Staggering really. They're also on 9k a week according to this bloke.

They're not likely to be on a huge whack seeing as they are only young. I recon they've probably just split what was going to be given to Paynter (to make him the top earner) between the two, and then the club would probably have some left over.

Not a chance we're paying anything close to £9k a week for anyone.

Fully agree. Their wages might go up to that if we get promoted to the Championship.

troble we have now is we have these top players but not all will play every week.
Unless.

Ball/Austin up front which will leave Ferry, Prutton, Douglas & JPM for midfield.

can ferry play on the left?

McGovern can play on the left, Prutton can play on the right which means Ferry & Douglas could play in the centre.

Caddis can play at right back.

I'd certainly play Ball upfront instead of Pericard.

Me too. Think we could go with the above but with Manks at RB and Caddis starting on the bench.

definitely. i've said all along he hasn't got it. whatever IT is.

ball and austin up front "on paper" looks a better partnership than when Paynter was here

if i were picking the team.

Lucas

Amankwaah
Cuthbert
LJF
Rose

JPM
Prutton
Douglas
O'Brien

Ball
Austin

that team almost picks itself. Hard decision to play Prutton ahead of Ferry. I stuck O'Brien on the left because he's a left winger!

I've heard Caddis can cover all these positions but I have only seen him play wide right once, on TV. He can play left wing I'd play him over O'Brien.

I think Ball would be wasted out wide.
