Now we have to worry about playing these players. Do we rotate Ferry and Prutton? JPM and Caddis? Do we play Caddis and JPM on either wing? Do we play caddis at RB, or LM? Or JPM at LM and Caddis at RM? This is exciting! I think i'm gonna piss my pants. Cheesy
What a nice little conundrum! If we put JPM at RM, Caddis at LM, where are we going to play Ball?
I think Ferry will be used as an impact player, and lets be fair it seems Prutts isnt shy of a crunching tackle or two so there could be a few suspensions that need filling.

This is a good day! Cheesy

It's great news, and looking back at this time last season, our squad is scarily good. Strength in Depth. My only slight concern is CB, but apart from that, we have the players that can really achieve something here. Obviously, expectations have now risen and I hope fans don't get on players back straight away. Oh and fans getting too carried away before a ball has been kicked- Gazza...

Anyhow, I don't think Prutton will start, and Manky, unluckily/undeservedly, will also be dropped.

For me:

GK: Lucas
LB: Rose
RB: Caddis
CB: Cuthbert
CB: LJF
RM: JPM
LM: Ball
CM: Dougie
CM: Ferry
CF: Togo Man
CF: Austin

Unless Danny plays Ferry on the Left, ball upfront? Or Ball doesn't start, and Pericard does??

Oh this feeling is good...

No way does Prutton not start. I'm also pretty certain Amankwah will play (see 'team v Brighton thread) But we shall see. It's all good Cool

Whoever starts, we have a fucking good bench that contains players who'd be well in the first team of lesser L1 teams. I think its what we were missing last season, squad depth and any players off the bench that could change the game. Pericard? No. O'Brien? No. Timlin? No. Easty? Maybe.

Its just a bummer we cant field a team of 15 then we could play them all.

The first thoughts that came to this Swindon fans mind:

Hope the board know what they are doing and not risking the club future will these cash buys. I heard the Celtic pair have come in on top money. I love to go up but I don't want to risk the future of the club if we fail to get promotion. Don't get me wrong loving all the new signings and think we gave a great chance... this year. But it not like your find an extra 5,000 people turning up each week if we are doing well. I just fear for the club if the money men walk away!!

Staggering really. They're also on 9k a week according to this bloke.

Yes. Good stuff. 2 great signings. Tbh I wasn't even expecting us to get Ferry back at all let alone on a 3 year deal. Caddis will hopefully be the shit as well.

No chance. We're talking about Fitton here, who has always said that wouldn't be the case.

Bollocks.

Not a chance we're paying anything close to £9k a week for anyone.
