Double striking boost for Town?

TOWN are keen to make an offer to keep trialist Thomas Dossevi at the County Ground, and are also contemplating a move for Leeds striker Tresor Kandol,
  the Advertiser can exclusively reveal.

Trevor Candle eh? That's sprung out of nowhere. I think he's a decent player for our level, but potentially we could have three similar strikers on our books. An indication Ball will be played as a winger?

The comments section is beginning to look like proof that people with mild retardation can still use the internet though.

I would think Kandol is backup for Dossevi. If we don't get Dossevi, we'd move for Kandol. I can't see why we'd sign both as we'd then have 3 big older target men and one younger potential target man.

Dont think Kandol's a bad move. He's proved himself to at least be reasonable at this level so would make a decent squad player for us.

As i said in another post Barry...Paynter our target man went missing v Millwall for his own reasons that became clear...Perricard was injured, that left us with Austin on his own.
You cant have enough,in this division a large squad is vital...nothing wrong with Perricard,Dossevi and Kandol fighting it out...ware going to need them.

We were reasonably lucky with injuries to forwards last season. Had Paynter and Austin been injured for any length of time we would have struggled I reckon.

Sounds about right to me.

Agreed. If Cuthbert and JFL get injured/suspended for example we are in deep doo doo.

I have a feeling in my water that we will get CB in on loan from Liverpoo, Celtic or Man City as back up and go with what we have got already.

If there is no fee involved for Kandol and his wage demands aren't too high then i think its worth a punt, he has experience of this level and has just been through a promotion season. Currently we only have Austin, Peri Pericard and Ball as striking options, although i agree that if Dossevi signs then we may cool our interest in Kandol....

Would like to see this...
