1.25m? I know the new Brighton owners have got a bit of money, but that's a bit far surely?
Can't see him giving up his shot at the Premiership so easily, the one thing Cox definately is is ambitious.

It'd be a very strange move and a unneccesary stepdown for him (no reflection on Brighton, we'd be a stepdown too)

Would be a great signing for someone of their level. It's not beyond possible, just seems a bit unlikely in that he'd get better moves within the ccc - although I suppose not everyone would be willing to shell out that money for him?
If he were to move to Brighton he'd also likely end the season as the league's top scorer because he's far too good for league 1. Their already over celebrated promotion success for this season might look less premature as well.

Not gonna happen, he wont move to a league 1 club even on loan, but I can see that if hes not had a sniff of first team football by xmas he may well go out on loan...but I would expect a Championship side to come in for him and not L1, and certainly not to Brighton.

Do I not like that forum. It's a bit like when a negative comment can gather momentum and make everyone become suicidal on here, their egos and their obsession with the ease they'll be promoted is out of control. It's embarrassing. Oh and "Gus Bus".

Post-Greer I'd say if anyone fully dismissed this rumour off they'd be naive because it's been floating around now for a few weeks (like Greer). If the wages are right then...
I'd be disappointed if he goes because it's been a while since a Swindon favourite progressed into the top flight. All it takes is Cox to come off the bench and do one moment of magic (which we know he can do) and that can result in extra game time for WBA.
I'm looking at Brighton's squad and although they certainly should do better, it's hardly intimidating.

At the same time they've also been linking themselves with Aaron Maclean, Theo Robinson, van gor of hesselink and Darius Vassell to name but 2 and all have been described as nailed on at some point. I just think they're getting a bit lost in their own ego's and believe everyone wants to sign for them as they'll be established in the Prem in the near future...... or not as the case may be.

A fair point glos, but in my defence I haven't looked at their forum once.
Reading around, there's a lot of confidant League One fans out there at the moment.
