Bet that took some practice to master. I couldn't do it without falling over and looking like a twat!

England....Frank Nouble and all, have to play Spain in the next round.  Spain are quite good...well very good.....likes of Iker Muniain and Sergio Canales.

Will be an interesting game to watch...

England got beat 3-1 Neatly summed up all the things wrong with English football, team of 6 ft+ athletes, with limited technical ability, just passed round, by smaller opponents.

Two of the Spanish goals were things of the highest quality...England's goal was a decent strike by John Bostock, who looked OK, as did Nathan Delfouneso. Frank really is terrible...if he was Spanish the nearest he'd get to the pitch would be as a steward.

I still cannot believe Danny Ward wasn't selected in the squad...unless Bolton didn't want him to go.

Was saying something like this earlier. Matt Phillips of Wycombe 'fame' played a big part for the u19s yet hardly set L1 alight last year. There were issues with clubs releasing players such as Blackburn defender Phil Jones, so maybe Bolton said no, or maybe the system is just shit.

The release of players is a problem....Ward probably doesn't get a look in because he doesn't have great pace and is more footballer than athlete.

I think Tope may have played though...
