Just wandered if anyone was going to this?

Get yourself down to Wharf Green in Swindon's Town Centre (underneath the large TV screen) from 10am on this Saturday 24th July, and enjoy all the fun involved in this year's official kit launch!

I heard EA Sports going to be there too, hopefully to trial Fifa 11 but probably not...

They're not actually displaying the kit until 2pm I think. It's all kids activities and stuff before then.

Just been to collect mine.

The new away and third kits are also on display as well as the goalkeeper's kit. As many have guessed, the third kit is the sleek black samsung shirt, and the away kit is the mirror image of the red, but with white as the forecolour, and blue being where the white is on the red shirt.

Took the kids down there and it was really good, both really enjoyed it. Well run, properly staffed so everyone's enquiries could be dealt with (kits, club membership, merchandise, FITC etc) and enough different stuff going on (penalty shoot-out competition, FIFA 10/World Cup playable on XBox and PS3, kids entertainer) to distract them while I picked their shirts up without them noticing. Seemed to be quite a few kids getting interested in the FITC courses as well, so hopefully they'll sign some up on the back of it. And the kits do look smart - look better on than the pics show. Mainly just nice to see the club putting on a public face in the town centre and doing it so well.

Just look at "Processed Beats" post and imagine it with the town badge and sponsor on.

Away shirt colours look better together than the silly white arm spoiling red shirt. I'm waiting for the black shirt (pre-orders October, November release). Hell I even like our training kit more than our home shirt!

But the kit launch was well organised and a very good idea. Nice one club.
