Would love to see Green Day live!
Only been to concerts in Scotland i'm afraid. Mainly Murrayfield and the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Been to a couple of concerts there, going to Green Day and Oasis too.
It's a good venue, like the name suggests it is a good bowl shape.
In terms of where to stay Dave, I'm not sure. There is a hotel opposite the bowl, but I would imagine it's full already. It's on Furzton Lake, and is a George pub I believe.
There is a Holiday Inn I think, and maybe a Travel Lodge, other than that there are a couple of pub hotels in Shenley Church End, and Loughton - both only a ten minute walk to the Bowl.
If you're going to go out you should get to the Theater District, and Snow Dome, Weatherspoons up there, or Hog's Head to start, maybe over to Lloyds for a couple before going to Revolution.
It's not a great night out, but it's OK, mates from Uni have enjoyed it, so I guess I'm just bored of it.
