Surely The Savoy and The Flag should be options?

I thought the Flag was more of a...erm... cough... lively Swindon Town pub?

Yeah definitely.

I didn't know it was closed. Did they get their license taken away?

Crispy you haven't lived til you've gotten pissed at the Savoy. It's the Wetherspoons at the top of town by the town hall, near the Wyvern Theatre.

You should go there sometime. I'd buy you a pint.

I'm not from swindon mate, didnt even know theese pubs existed  Huh?

Neither am I but when I do go to games, I go to The Savoy. No reason as to why.

When I eventually move back to the South West (fingers crossed for 2011) then I'll review my drinking location options.

Do you know who I am in real life? I quite often have a pint in the rolly before a match. Come say hello next time.

11am start in Bushwhackers, then Rudi's along to the Merlin next, then County Ground Pub and finally finish in the Winner's bar before kick off

It gets packed before a big game. I don't go in there too often though.
