Che Guevara
He was in reality an evil terrorist thug. Read his biography. Definitely not brilliant.

I kind of thought that too. The overeaction to her death was possibly the most bizarre, ridiculous event I can remember.
But then I remembered she did loads of charity work so fair play. I think she was a kind person. She wouldn't have come to my mind as a "legend" tho.
Well if I had loads of spare time and money to burn I would probably do lots of charity work as well. Would that make me brilliant?

Talk talk are you saying Diana's charity work is invalid because she was rich?
I kind of see what you're saying but I don't think someones charity work is worthless because they're rich and/or famous. Especially if you can see they are moved by some of the stuff they see.
As I said I don't think she was some sort of saint. The glorification of her when she died was ridiculous. Especially as a lot of the people glorifying her were the tabloids that caused her so much shit and the people who bought those tabloids.

Steve Fossett, he was brilliant in that he always went one better than Branson in his adventures.
Well until his last one anyway...

i agree.the queen mum for instance was a bully and nasty peice of work I liked her on Spitting Image
If it's spitting image puppets, I nominate Thatchers and especially when she was flirting with Hitler who lived next door, sheer brilliance. I've got round the dead part by assuming as a puppet it was never alive so must be dead. Also the real Thatcher is a zombie. Dead dead proper dead.

OMG! My cousin is Paul Bristow - when did he die?! This is a tragic way to find that out... unless of course it's another Paul Bristow
