Where you lot realistically think you'll end up next season?

You've still got Austin to fire in the goals and pretty solid back line for this level. Not sure about Prutton and Douglas as a duo, not much creativity in there. JP will have a job on to perform to the same high levels as last season too.

How many more signings do you think DW is likely to make?

Seems Lee Carsley and Steve Howard could be the final pieces to our jigsaw. Howard is exactly what we missed last season, someone to take the beatings off brutal centre halves and allow our other forwards to do what they're good at. Carsley will be ideal for tough away games but think he will only be wheeled out occassionally. Joey Gudjonsson and Scott Arfield will be our most likely midfield 2

I think we get playoffs again. We are likely to bring another 4-5 players in.

It's thought that 2 of those will likely be caddis and ferry add to that a striker and a left winger and we are pretty much sorted.

Steve Howard would be a great signing in league 1.

If Huddersfield are not 10 points clear by Xmas Clark will be sacked the amount of money he has spent and the amount of signings he has made !

I'm not a big fan of Uddersfield FC but I fucking love the town. Shithot night out and the people are all really friendly.

For this reason I hope we stay in the same division.

A lot of our fans are saying the same but I don't think he will. Hoyle handed him and his backroom team deals until 2012 and I think they will be here until atleast then

I think that's optimistic. I can't see any manager lasting 2 years at this level when they spend what you have spent, unless they get into the Championship. You're looking like a strong team this year and I'd expect you to be one of the main contenders, although I thought that last year and you failed to impress so we'll see.

As for us, everything hinges on who comes in. Our defence is ok but losing Greer is a bit worrying. We're looking ok up front with Austin but need another face in there, as well as a new left winger. If we can get those I'd hope for another play-off compaign. At the end of last season I hoped we'd put together a squad capable of reaching the top 2 but we'll need some impressive signings before that becomes a reality.

Gasworks club is the bollocks. Punk band's on a saturday afternoon! I'm going again this season primarily because of that. If any town fan hasn't been there yet It's highly recommended, as Is Carlisle which is soon.

Yeah because it would have been nailed on he would have joined you over us?

Careful princess, I wasn't saying he'd prefer us over you, but we seem to have an inside track on Celtic's players so wondered if we'd looked him up.

To echo what others have said, you've spent a fucking shed load, again, and 400k on a player who's, from what I've heard, not all that. Some of your other signings though are a class above. I'm sure you'll be there or thereabouts again.

Hello Udders'. Good to have you on board mate. What with Falmer For All also posting it's becoming a bit FF like on the TEF in recent weeks. Yikes.

Well I think we'll do well again. I know a lot of people have been saying that the loss of Greer and Paynter means we won't but 2 players can be replaced. I'm confident we'll fill both voids one way or another.

You talk about lack of creativity in the centre well Ferry and Douglas were hardly the creative types last season. Lots of our creativity came through JP, Ward and the front 2.

I like the look of your squad this time. You've added the experience you were missing last season. I think you'll be top 2 personally but much will depend on Lee Clark who I think is your biggest question mark.
