Is it on the increase in this country? Its a sad sad state of affairs.

What with the current bloke on the rampage, and the one in cumbria a few months ago..

I still think all Police officers should be armed.

Not keen on the Police being armed be default. I'm not sure it works too well in the states.

There will inevitably be a lot of questions asked given that there have been two cases in such close proximity, but it'll take a bit more than that before we have to consider it a serious issue. For example, in London, knife crime among teenagers seems to be a much more pervasive problem.

The bigger issue for me is that he was realeased on Thursday then on the friday the prison decided to ring the police and say oh yeah his ex missus is in danger.

The police have a substantial number of guns already. It's just that they are not on public view.

the problem in IMO, is that there is no punishment to fit the crime anymore, shoot or knife someone and you will be out in a few years, in the police statement on tv today, copper said 'give yourself up you stll have a future', a future that prick has shot 3 people, and one of those are dead, mind games or not that fucker should be hung, :cunt:

knives are a far worse problem than guns.

arming the police force as a whole will only encourage people to arm themselves.
